Konstitusi bertanya prihal “ditertawakan”.

子 曰, 邦 有 道 穀, 邦 無 道 穀, 恥 也.
zǐ yuē ‘bāng yǒu dào gǔ, bāng wú dào gǔ, chǐ yě’

Wahyu berkata ‘Setiap Negara bagian memiliki dasar logika persediaan beras, Negara bagian yang tidak memiliki aturan persediaan berasnya, ditertawakan pula’

克 伐, 怨, 欲, 不 行 焉, 可 以 為, 仁 矣.
‘kè, fá, yuàn, yù, bù háng yān, kě yǐ wéi “rén” yǐ.

Tidak berarti, omong besar, menyalahkan, bernafsu, Mengapa tidak memuaskan, mungkinkah boleh untuk damai selamanya.

子 曰, 可 以 為 難 矣, 仁 則, 吾 不 知 也.
zǐ yuē ‘kě yǐ wéi nán yǐ, rén zé, wú bù zhī yě’.

Berkata ‘Boleh demi keadaan sulit akhirnya, Berprinsip damai, menurut saya tidak dimengerti pula’.

It is shameful in an officer to be caring only about his emolument. Hsien asked what was shameful. The Master said, "When good government prevails in a state, to be thinking only of salary; and, when bad government prevails, to be thinking, in the same way, only of salary;– this is shameful."

憲 : konstitusi, mewakili kebijaksanaan suatu negara bagian. Setiap Negara bagian harus memiliki kebijaksanaan persediaan padi / gandumnya, Negara bagian yang tidak memiliki kebijaksanaan persediaan padi / gandumnya, ditertawakan sebagai negara bagian yang : "Tidak berarti, omong besar, menyalahkan, bernafsu". Mengapa negara bagian ini tidak memuaskan ? Mungkinkan negara bagian yang tidak memiliki kebijaksanaan persediaan padi / gandumnya memiliki kedamaian ? Menyimpulkan, bahwa Negara bagian yang tidak memiliki kebijaksanaan persediaan padi / gandumnya akan mengalami masa-masa sulit yang berkepanjangan. Semua itu disebabkan belum mengerti arti kata damai pula.

The praise of perfect virtue is not to be allowed for the repression of bad feelings. 1. "When the love of superiority, boasting, resentments, and covetousness are repressed, this may be deemed perfect virtue." 2. The Master said, "This may be regarded as the achievement of what is difficult. But I do not know that it is to be deemed perfect virtue."

Hsien asked about 'Shameless'. The Master said, 'It is shameful to make salary your sole object, irrespective of whether the Way prevails in the state Meaningless, Big mouth against the temptation to press one's advantage, to brag about oneself, to harbour grudges or to be covetous may be called "benevolent"?' The Master said, 'It may be called "difficult", but I don't know about its being benevolent'.

VIII. Government
Constitution asked 'Shameless'. Revelation says, 'State should have logic thingking about their rice / wheat stock, State without logic thingking about their rice / wheat stock, laughable too'. Peanut (very small), Big mouth, Blame, Desire, Why not satisfied, is it able to be for the sake of peace forever ? Says, 'Able to be for the sake of dificulties forever, Principle of peace, according to me not understood too'.
